我第一次聽到「完整」的美國國歌是我在移民局宣示拿證書的那一天。
之後，則是在「退伍軍人節」時聽到的（請看舊作：美國國歌一文）。
美國職棒大聯盟開打前，都會全場起立唱美國國歌。
當天領唱的是西雅圖歌劇院的女高音。
大大的看板上，不但播放影片，更有歌詞。
雖說國歌有「四段」，不過通常聽到的，都只有「第一段」而已。
等到第七局上半場結束時，女高音又出現了。
這會兒，唱的正是美國的另一首耳熟能詳的歌曲：天佑美國God Bless America。
聽說，這是在九一一恐怖攻擊事件後，美國職棒大聯盟為了振奮美國人的民心士氣所採用的方式。
八八水災重創台灣，有人提議作詞作曲家，也來寫一首「天佑台灣」來鼓舞目前低迷的士氣，希望能用一首歌曲，喚起大家對這片土地的愛與珍惜，並期望能仿照美國職棒大聯盟，在每場職棒球賽中場時，由進場球迷一起傳唱。
雖然目前還不知這首「鼓舞士氣」的歌曲在哪裡，不過都希望台灣同胞，加油！
